Call for abstracts

Abstracts can be submitted only online via this submission form. Abstracts are to be submitted in English.

Please note, the submission of an abstract does not replace the registration as a participant to the congress. The presentingauthor must register separately via the online registration (click here). Please indicate the presenting author during the submission process.

Submission Deadline is July 15th, 2026. Authors who have submitted abstracts will be notified by email on August 9th, 2026 if their paper has been accepted. Accepted abstract contributions will be published online.

Figures and tables are not allowed. Original data should be presented at the congress. With the submission, the authors assume responsibility for the correctness of the data. The responsibility for the clarification of possible copyrights of third parties regarding the contents of the abstract lies with the authors.

(without title / authors / affiliation / conflicts / acknowledgments / references) must not exceed 1200 characters (including spaces). Please use the following structure as a guideline for your submission:

  • Introduction (max. 300 characters)
  • Methods and Materials (max. 300 characters)
  • Results and Discussion (max. 300 characters)
  • Conclusions (max. 300 characters)

(Please check which statements are applicable):

  • Conflict of interest: Disclose any conflict of interest. If co/authors are employees of a company, then note that here. Likewise, shareholdings in companies are to be mentioned. Otherwise: Authors state no conflict of interest.
  • Animal models: Indicate here under which approval you have carried out animal experiments.
  • Informed consent: Informed consent has been obtained from all individuals included in this study.
  • Ethical approval: The research related to human use complies with all the relevant national regulations, institutional policies and was performed in accordance with the tenets of the Helsinki Declaration, and has been approved by the authors’ institutional review board or equivalent committee.

The preferred spelling of the word “acknowledgment” in America is without an “e” after the “g”. Avoid the stilted expression,“One of us (R. B. G.) thanks . . .” Instead, try “R. B. G. thanks”. Research funding: The authors state no funding involved.
